Yes, you can. Leasemyway is an operating lease for private or business customers that allows use of a new vehicle without needing to own it.

Upgrade your current vehicle. We will be in touch with you in the months prior to the end of your existing lease term to talk you through the latest makes, models to find the best replacement option for you and a seamless changeover.

At the end of the lease term, you will return the vehicle to ERL Vehicle Leasing for inspection or to one of our nominated dealer partners.  Subject to the vehicle being within the agreed km limit and in good condition in line with our fair wear and tear guidelines you have nothing further to pay. We will provide you with a copy of the inspection and an outline of any refurbishment or excess km charges if applicable.

We are able to help with a short-term extension at the end of term if needed, in most cases we will have arranged your replacement vehicle prior the end date ready for swap over.

Your lease designed to run the full agreed term, however if you need to end your lease early you will be responsible for our loss on sale of the vehicle (if any) or the balance of rentals, whichever is lower.  In this situation we will work with you the options and costs.

Fair Wear and Tear means such deterioration in the working order, repair, condition and appearance of the Vehicle as is reasonable consistent with careful maintenance and use of the Vehicle. Fair Wear and Tear includes all superficial scratches and scuffs to bumpers and superficial stone chips and superficial scratches, scuffs and wear to the interior of the Vehicle.

However, Fair Wear and Tear does not include:

• the surface of the body paint of the vehicle being broken exposing undercoat or metal in any way;
• any tears, rips or cuts to seats, interior trim, carpets and headlining, or oil, cigarette burns, glue, chemicals or other such substances on any part of the interior of the Vehicle which cannot be easily removed using upholstery cleaners;
• missing engine components and engine accessories;
• mismatched tyres and damage to tyre treads and sidewalls or insufficient tread to pass a roadworthy or similar test;
• missing engine components and engine accessories;

If your circumstances change, and your kilometre usage increases you have two options.  Choose to adjust your rental now to reflect the higher km usage over the remaining term or choose to pay the excess km charge at the end of the term.  If this is the case just give one of our team and call and we can talk thought the options, the adjustment will only be an increase to reflect the higher km usage, there is no additional penalty involved.

All vehicles whether leased or owned need regular servicing or repair to keep them in good working order and to ensure they are safe.

If you have chosen a maintained lease option book your vehicle into the nearest franchise dealer for servicing and make sure you advise the dealership that it is a maintained lease car via ERL Vehicle Leasing.  The dealership will contact us for a work order at the time of servicing.  If you have included tyres in your lease, contact your nearest Bridgestone/ Firestone or Advantage Tyres (previously Beaurepaires) store for a repair or replacement remembering to advise them it is an ERL Vehicle Leasing car.

All ERL Vehicle Leases include annual vehicle relicensing on the monthly lease price.  ERL Vehicle Leasing will arrange to relicense your vehicle prior to expiry and forward this to you by mail well ahead of expiry.  Please make sure you keep us informed of your up-to-date postal address.
